CONTRACT PICTURE FRAMING and MIRRORS

As an integral part of a hotel refurbishment programme, creative photography endorses the brand and adds character to each room.

We can frame from supplied artwork, historical images or maps, library selections or shoot regional images that link to the hotel. In-depth research is undertaken to create a collection of images from which clients can make a final decision.

To ensure consistant quality everything is done in-house from our workshops on the Sussex Downs. Prints are on the thickest stock, all frames are handmade and assembled with CMC cut mounts and springlock security fixings, delivery is coordinated to a ‘just in time’ principle so that they can be received at the clean end of a refurb. We deliver ourselves and can fit if required.

Parkdean Resorts, lodges on 10 sites throughout the UK.

All photography was undertaken over a two week period capturing seascapes and scenes at dusk or dawn, finishing late at one location and driving to the next for the dawn light. The scale of this project facilitated the building of a 2nd assembly workshop, rented storage, more machinery and an army of skilled temps to meet the deadline. We used 7.6 kilometres of framing profile and 1.25 square km of glass and mirror.

Images were hung as geographic pairs, Man O’ War beach is just left of Durdle Door, Dorset.

Dawn or dusk at Windermere, Durdle Door, Newquay, Clovelly and the Isle of Wight.

Studley Castle Hotel, Warner Leisure, Warwickshire.

We had a selection of historical, client supplied and our own images to frame on this complete renovation, with a total of 220 rooms we handmade and delivered 1320 frames.

Displayed as a set of 6 in each room.

Gunton Hall Hotel, Warner Leisure, Lowestoft.

Photography to express the hotel's woodland setting. 57 varnished canvases stretched over mdf . With a tight deadline and miserable weather we travelled through the night to get the forecasts only hour of sunshine at 8am, by 9am it was raining and we were in the cafe reviewing the work with a sense of relief.

Bodelwyydan Castle, Warner Leisure, Wales.

Architectural details observed around the hotel are brought to the attention of guests for them to find and discover around the site. These were framed in a bronze profile to match the tone of the room or as 1200x600 heat sealed block mounts

This small selection showcases just some of the thousands of our images which are displayed in hotels, restaurants and commercial properties around the UK.

Each project is costed individually, with labour and expenses incorporated into a simple unit price for each artwork depending on size, spec and finish of the artwork.
